Terms & ConditionsComputer Repairs: Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd may pass your computer to a third party to be repaired without your prior agreement. This does not affect any warranty we offer to you. Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd will not be held liable for any loss of data - we advise all our customers to back up any important data on a regular basis. As a customer, when you take receipt of your completed repair it is your repsonsibility to check for any physical damage that you think may have been caused while in our care. Any report of physical damage after handover of goods has taken place will not be valid. As a customer you have 7 days in which to satisfy yourself that a repair has been completed to a satisfactory level. After this time Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd will charge further labour fees. (Of course, this does not affect any warranty given on hardware supplied.) Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd does not provide a warranty for any work completed on a computer system using non-genuine operating systems, file sharing or other questionable software or overclocked/tweaked hardware components. Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd will quote for and repair only what is requested by the customer. For example: If the customer asks for a laptop DC Socket to be repaired this will be completed. Should the repair of the DC socket then highlight further damage to the laptop (perhaps a motherboard fault) then Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd will be within its rights to charge for work completed to date. Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd will not be held responsible for further damage discovered after repair of the original fault reported by the customer. Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd will not be held liable for any costs incurred by the customer as part of the process ie: travelling exspenses, time off work, postage etc. Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd will not provide any warranty cover for physically damaged or tampered with items - this includes where a third party repair person/business/company has had involvement. Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd only offer free collection and delivery when stated in writing. Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd do not offer free collection and delivery as a standard service which can be requested at any time by customers. Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd do not offer an onsite warranty. It is the responsibility of the customer to get any items under warranty back to us to look at - Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd may, at its discretion, collect and re-deliver such items at low cost which works out cheaper than most other means. Any goods supplied by Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd are done so for the purpose they were designed, not the purpose they have been used for, for example: using an internal hard drive as an external backup device or overclocking a processor. Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd may charge a reasonable fee for late cancellations, currently £0.50per mile travelled by the engineer attending. Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd may charge a reasonable fee where the customer is not present at the address supplied within 10minutes of the agreed time, currently £0.50per mile travelled by the engineer attending + an additional £10.00. After 10minutes the Engineer may leave and the customer will be charged. Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd may charge a reasonable fee on occassions where access to equipment is not possible or unreasonable effort is required on the part of the engineer attending to access required equipment. Engineers must not lift weights of 20kg or over. Currently we charge the first hours fee for such occassions. Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd may charge a reasonable fee for 'extra work requested' by the customer during onsite support - the engineer in attendance will notify the customer of the exact amount prior to carrying out any additional work. Website Design SEO: The customers agrees that all content, images and other media supplied by the customer is the rightful property of the customer and does not hold Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd liable for any claim made by a third party in respect of such material. The customer agrees that until payment for all services supplied by Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd has been paid for in full by the customer that Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd will have the right to refuse access to all related material goods and intellectual property. The customer acknowledges that web-hosting services and domain name purchases are supplied via Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd by a third party and does not hold Staffordshire Computers & IT Ltd for any losses, web-hosting and/or domain name issues.
